Christmas Tree Farm Vibes in Cougar Boots
Heading up north to cut down a fresh Christmas tree has been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember. Frankly, the annual Christmas tree cutting is a bigger deal than Christmas Day. It’s my favourite part of the holidays when my family and I get together and soak up in the Holiday spirit and work (extra) hard to find our special Christmas tree.
Naturally, with the cold weather, it’s important for me to sport something warm yet fashionable, so I knew that what i desperately needed this year was comfortably warm footwear. I have been wearing Cougar Boots for years now, but this year, I was in need of the originals. With the traditional tan leather and fleece lining along with the Roots Canada cabin socks I paired with them, I knew that I would be set to stomp around the tree farm to find the tree of my Christmas dreams!
I also hate layer with super thick pieces while I’m out cutting a tree, so I opted for a simple turtleneck which is layered overtop a long sleeve and I then went with this Le Chateau winter jacket I picked up last year so I can keep warm without the weight!
See below for more of my trip to the tree farm and let me know in the comments if you head to a tree farm for the holidays! Would love to know where you go!
