Dufferin Mall Shopcrawl Event Recap

Last night, a few hundred women joined together inside Dufferin Mall in Toronto for Chick Advisor’s annual Shopcrawl fashion shopping event.

Having attended Shopcrawl before, I was excited to take part again this year and shop till I dropped with access to exclusive discounts from stores such as, H&M, American Eagle, Marshalls/Winners, GAP Factory, Dynamite, The Children’s Place, Reitmans, Soft Moc, Call It Spring, and Trade Secrets!

Kicking off the evening, I quickly joined the large crowd of eager shoppers gathered in the central hub of Dufferin Mall. I then collected my passport that outlines each store involved in the Shopcrawl which I would use to get a stamp at each spot.

Inside the center court, the DJ played some amazing music – as if he took tunes straight from my iTunes library. To add some glamour to the shopping extravaganza, the event included a red carpet “step and repeat” where I had the opportunity to pose with fellow bloggers Amber and Sydney and gossiped about our shopping lists for the evening.

Now, the shopping was ready to go down.

Aside from the stores involved, there have been some big changes to Dufferin Mall and new stores like Forever 21 and Marshalls have popped up and made the excitement to shop that much greater, knowing that I could indulge even more and find some great fall pieces for my wardrobe!

DavidsTEA Pumpkin Chai in hand, my first stop was H&M and I immediately knew this would be a store I could do some damage in since their latest pieces are great for the season. I left with a 70’s inspired printed shift dress with a cutout back, flowy white blouse and a bunch of goodies and accessories including a floral makeup bag and passport holder. Needless to say, I went a little nuts.

Dynamite surprised me with a faux shearling vest I instantly eyed upon walking into the store. The entire Dynamite location was covered in fall hues of burgundy, nudes and forest greens much like Reitmans where I squealed when I spotted a tailored black vest that was perfect for my wardrobe. It was actually the top item on my list of what I wanted to find last night, so I’m thrilled I scored it!

A girl can never have too much shoes and accessories so I picked up a few items to complete the looks I pulled together from the night. With Shopcrawl’s exclusive discounts, I just couldn’t resist.

After going through everything I bought and thinking back to the experience I had with fellow shoppers along with the insane swag bag we were gifted for attending, I can’t wait until the next #DufferinMallShopcrawl!
