Nespresso Tiramisu Parfait Recipe
Guys, I am so excited for todays post. It’s so yummy!
As I’ve mentioned before, my partnership with Nespresso is continuing on to the new year and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I love the brand’s delicious flavours and convenient (and stylish) machines that are just unbeatable so I’m excited that I have the opportunity to share that all with you!
This time around however, I really wanted to think outside the box and share a recipe that incorporates Nespresso in a different way.
I introduce to you the Nespresso Tiramisu Parfait!
To be honest, I wanted to create a dessert with Nespresso, but it was the boyfriend’s idea to come up with an original Tiramisu. We blended his obsession for Tiramisu and my love for making things just look pretty, and we conveniently came up with this layered parfait. Light, creamy with just a kick of espresso that is sure to be a crowd pleaser when you have company over.
Not only is it easy to make, but it looks fancy enough to complete a dinner party or gathering. See below for recipe details and stay tuned on my social channels and the blog for new releases from Nespresso!
- Ladyfingers
- Brew 1 Nespresso Voltesso Capsule
- 4 Egg Yolks
- ½ Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup + 2 tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Cup(8 oz.) Mascarpone
- Cocoa Powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Place Ladyfingers (roughly 15-20) in a container and pour espresso over them evenly to make sure they are all coated.
- For the filling, combine the egg yolks, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of the heavy cream in a small saucepan and whisk together. Place over medium heat and whisk constantly, until the sugar is dissolved and the custard thickens. Remove from heat and then place in a large mixing bowl and let cool.
- In another bowl, beat the remaining heavy cream until stiff and then set aside.
- Add the mascarpone to the cooled custard and whisk together until smooth then gently add in the whipped cream until fully combined. Put the filling in a piping bag (or use a ziploc bag like I did and snip the corner to pipe)
- For assembly, I used clear Nespresso cups that would show off the layering. Start by placing some ladyfingers at the bottom of the cup ( you can cut or crumble the ladyfinger/espresso mixture). Then, pipe a layer of filling over the ladyfinger mixture. Continue to layer espresso-soaked ladyfingers and filling until you reach the top of the serving dish. End with a layer of filling and then dust the tops of each dish with cocoa powder.
Voila!
