Style vs. Comfort While On The Go
If you followed along on Instagram over the last 5 days, you would have seen that I spent a few days in Montreal for what started out as work, and was extended for strictly pleasure. Without divulging too much right now (because I have so much more fun content to share from my trip), I wanted to share this easy and super simple look I sported Saturday early morning for a day full of food, sightseeing, shopping and A LOT of walking.
I have to admit that when it comes to fashion and my style, I always try to find a way to look put together and clean without losing my comfort. Of course, who doesn’t want to be comfortable? However, where do you draw the line? Also, when I travel, I struggle to pack because I am not someone who plans outfits and my style is based on my mood – which is why it can be inconsistent at times. So when I had to pack for my Montreal trip with just a carry on, I couldn’t decide on what to pack that would allow me to look put together, cute in photos but would allow me to feel comfortable throughout the day while walking and sightseeing.
This is one of the many looks I sported this past weekend and while it is really nothing special, It was the perfect look to enjoy a quick morning running around. I’m a firm believer that denim, a stripped tee, leather jacket and a pair of clean white sneakers while go a long way and this look is proof. Not to mention I swapped my look for a black dress with the while sneakers and found myself in this pair of denim many times during my trip.
Moral of the story? The classics are classics for a reason!
Denim – GAP/ Leather JatherJacket – Danier (old)/ Tee – Banana Republic/ Sneakers – Converse/ Bag – Camelia Roma
