10 of my Favourite Things To Do This Fall

I could not jump for joy more knowing that Fall is here, and I feel like I say that every year! This season is a fresh start for me and I take the opportunity to really focus on my happiness before the winter comes and with that, the winter blues!

Don’t get me wrong, I still love the colder weather, but fall is where you can enjoy both the indoor coziness and the outdoor charm all at the same time, and this year, I have made my own list of what I MUST do before the final autumn leaves fall!

1. Coffee dates are a must in the fall, so I love catching up with friends over a cup of coffee or hot chocolate! Let’s add some sweet treats in there too, shall we?
2. I talked about how much I loved making my way to Hamilton for the day, so naturally, I’m looking to escape for a weekend again so I can enjoy a scenic drive with fall foliage and a new little town!
3. Apple picking is my favourite way to get a little fitness activity in while having fun with friends or family. Also, nothing beats a delicious pie made from the apples YOU pick!
4. Speaking of apples, go cider tasting (you can’t forget wine tasting too!)
5. With Fall comes Halloween, and you have to pick up a pumpkin and carve it – even if you aren’t giving out candy or dressing up for Halloween! Visitng a pumpkin farm is my favourite thing come fall, so look for your local pumpkin farm and make a day out of it!
6. Fall shopping is the best kind of shopping, so get out there and get some cozy knits, boots and coats to fill your closet.
7. Enjoy a fall picnic outside. Just be sure to bring cozy blankets, the tunes, a great spread and hot cider!
8. Travel. Yes, travelling in the fall is my favourite, so I can’t wait to head to Europe this week!
9. Make a fall-inspired recipe. I made this pumpkin risotto that had me obsessed, so now I’m looking at all the fall recipes like pies, casseroles and soups!
10. While some think that festivals and markets are for the summertime, a fall market or festival is just as charming as it is cozy – grab your friends and go!
