New Year, Same Plan

As I’ve mentioned before, the new year to me is a fresh start, however I am so over the idea of ‘resolutions’. I feel like the second any one makes a resolution, it’s just a matter of time before they forget about it or lose the desire to stick to it! I know I am not speaking for everyone, but I’m choosing to stay away from resolutions, and instead, I am calling it a new year, but with the same plan that I give myself every year.

That’s the plan to work hard, challenge myself, smile more and work towards being the best version of myself.

On another note, this getup is the outfit I wore New Years Eve day after I finished work and went for a yummy lunch with the fam. I have been on the hunt for flat OTK boots and this sleek pair from Le Chateau was the perfect pick to end my Le Shoe Style Ambassadorship for the year! The boots have been on repeat but I especially love this look with a turtleneck layered under a black lace slip dress! I’ve also vowed to myself that I need to dial up the sexy and sassy side in me, so with this being the first look on the blog for 2017, I think I’m already on the right track!
