Adrian Wu has been featured a number of times on Girls of T.O., dating back to when we launched in mid 2010. I initially met Adrian earlier that year through celebrity photographer and dear friend, Ryan Emberley. I remember watching Adrian’s designs make their way down the minuscule “runway” at the Much Music studio, where he briefly worked as a fashion correspondent,  and I knew then that Wu was going to be a topic of conversation for years to come.

His creations have been critiqued and praised ad nauseum. Some publications seem to think he’s just a young man with a too ambitious dream, while other’s commend him on his bold statements. Regardless of their opinions, they’re writing about him.

I can honestly say that there are pieces of Wu’s collection I’d love to rock on my not so slender figure, like his take on a peplum mini, while other’s I would leave for the avant-garde model.  What I find the most interesting about it all is Adrian himself. Everything he has produced he taught himself how to do and his sweet yet fabulous personality is not fabricated one bit. He is a walking fashion show and a great candidate for a Hollywood celebrity. Has Adrian’s PR team contacted Gaga yet?
