Time to save the date. On November 6, H&M will launch their latest capsule collection with American designer Alexander Wang. Not only is Wang the youngest designer to join the ranks of Lanvin, Karl Lagerfeld, Versace, and Isabel Marant, he’s also the first American designer to collaborate with the Swedish brand.
The announcement was made at Coachella via Instagram and it has taken the fashion world by storm. Anyone who’s everyone is talking about the collaboration and fashionistas cannot wait until November 6 to see what the designer has in store.
“We’ve always liked Alexander’s designs,” explained H&M’s creative advisor, Margareta van den Bosch. “He’s very contemporary. It’s very young, but it’s also things that can be worn by any age because of his influences in tailoring and sport. He’s very much today.”
Expect minimalism with an edge and perfected basics such as t-shirts. Start saving your dimes ladies, this collection is sure to pack a punch.
