NARS Cosmetics and Barneys New York celebrated NARS’ 20th Anniversary with an exclusive exhibition and cocktail event for Founder and Creative Director François Nars hosted by Linda Evangelista, Fabien Baronand Simon Doonan on Thursday night.
Alicia Keys, Taylor Schilling, Abigail Breslin, Jamie Chung, Jessica Joffe, Violeta Sanchez, Toni Garrn, Daria Strokous, Ginta Lapina, Heather Marks, Anna Ewers, Grace Coddington, Steven Klein, Ana Khouri, Candace Pool, Carla Gugino, Jennifer Fisher, Monique Pean, Emily Weiss, Natalie Joos, Cleo Wade, Becka Diamond, Kate Foley, Reece Solomon, Christina Kruse, Chelsea Leyland, Didier Malige, James Kaliardos, Cecilia Dean, Justin Felber, Henri Richter Werner, Richard Perry, Mark Lee, Daniella Vitale and Tomoko Ogura were just some of the high-profile guests who joined François Nars and CEO, Louis Desazars at the VIP event.
The NARS 20th Anniversary exhibition, held at Maccarone Gallery in the West Village, was curated by design firm Baron & Baron and features highlights from the past two decades including iconic NARS campaigns and selects from published volumes of Francois Nars’ work. Each image evokes the power of transformation, bringing the viewer face-to-face with every dimension of his creative vision.
“This is an amazing milestone to celebrate, I feel like it was just yesterday that I started NARS, but I think we are in a very good place–constantly improving and growing by the day. I’m excited to see what the next 20 years will bring” said François Nars.
