My idea of an entertaining night has definitely changed over the last decade. Long blurry nights with a big group of friends has now turned into date nights and girls nights out that involve more planning than they used to are what I call the best kind of nights.
Because going out is no longer really “going out” I am always on the hunt for an exciting event that is both unique and insanely fun (without having to fork out money to just get into a place). With TIFF finishing, its that crucial period when everyone is still buzzing but the TIFF events have come and gone, so what better time to bring back the excitement than with THE BOX’s and Toronto’s own Brassaii’s event, CULTURE/SHOCK.
THE BOX is the exclusive “cabaret nouveau” theatre of varieties concept anchored in New York and London. CULTURE/SHOCK is immersive, visually striking, and provocative so you are guaranteed to be captivated and entertained. Nestled amidst a romantic cobblestone courtyard patio with a rich architectural heritage, Brassaii is transformed and has partnered with THE BOX’s production to feature captivating performances that are boldly entertaining and risqué.

A little cirque, a little naughty and I am loving it! It is bound to be an unforgettable evening, and while I’ll be attending on the opening night, I want to give a Girls of T.O reader the opportunity to see it for yourself!

I’m a guy going on a second date with this amazing girl.
