Cauliflower Chocolate Pudding Recipe with Loblaws + Gift Card Giveaway
At the start of 2016 I moved in with the boyfriend and one of the selling points to moving to the area is the fact that shopping is so close by and that includes my favourite grocery store, Loblaws. Not only am I lucky enough to live so closely to a grocery store, but with Loblaws, I have access to such an incredible array of fresh, local ingredients – especially during the summer and fall months. I enjoyed mouthwatering watermelon, crips corn and all the squash my little heart desired.
Loblaws happens to be the largest purchaser of locally grown food in the country with 40 per cent of produce sold in their stores which is sourced by Canadian growers during this peak season. It is truly amazing to walk into my local Loblaws store and never be disappointed by their selection of produce. Fun fact. 99.9% of my recipes here are on the blog are made from ingredients bought at Loblaws – not to mention the countless bouquet of flowers I indulge in each week! For reference, check out my Instagram!
Loblaws has teamed up with the vegan YamChops butcher, Michael Abramson to create some unique, seasonally inspired recipes, perfect for dining and entertaining! The recipes are so amazing that I just had to make his Cauliflower Chocolate Pudding myself! It’s so yummy to enjoy and even easier to make! Not to mention it’s made with healthy ingredients!
CAULIFLOWER CHOCOLATE PUDDING

It’s important to support local growers as it makes our footprint in the environment smaller (the food doesn’t have as far to travel, etc). It also in turn supports jobs in the local community!

It’s getting back to our roots, back to a simpler time. Buying local produce is important to support the hard working farmers who are our neighbors, the ones providing fresher food to our families, while keeping the economy strong within our community. We are also being great role models for our children who are the future generation of producers & consumers, setting the example of the importance of fresh food.

It is important to support local farmers. We have one in Dundas Ontario, the marked is open on Thursdays. All farmers from the surrounding area sell their produce there. Why go anywhere else. The produce is much better in taste and all around. Organic farming is the best way to go. No chemicals used/pesticides, which are harming the bees and our health. Supporting, the local farmers, helps sustain their lively hood..why go with the big producers who use low quality of seeds and pesticides.\

You are what you eat. Local growers use less resources, which means a reduction in pollution that affect the quality of the soil that grows our food, that affect the quality of the harvest or end product. Each dollar spent goes towards supporting the growers, not the corporations that actually deplete our environment.

I like to support local growers because I like to know where my food comes from. I enjoy talking to the farmers and being able to ask questions. I also like to help my son to learn and be aware of where our food comes from. I think it’s important to develop relationships with our farmers and to support our communities!

I love buying and using local farmers and growers specially where I live, near the St Jacobs market, we are spoiled with so many farmers and vendors. I love supporting them, knowing where my food comes from and truly believe it is healthier for my family. It is also great supporting my community and most of these farmers do a lot in our community like donating to food bank etc. I especially love Herrles market if you are ever over this way, stop by there store. only open May to October. best known for his corn

it is important to support local growers because where would we be without them; imagine if all our fruits & vegetables came from other countries, and we weren’t able to enjoy the freshest, juiciest, tastiest food possible! our local farmers work long hours through all sorts of weather to put food on their tables, as well as ours. Why wouldn’t we support this!
