If you know me, you know that I am a converse fanatic, and it’s only getting worse as the years progress. I have found a true appreciation for a good pair of sneakers and their versatility. Now, sneakers are not only meant to be worn with sweats and a tee, but instead, sneakers are that statement item that can work with anything, including dresses and skirts to put a twist on a feminine outfit.
This Converse x Hudson’s Bay collaboration is only feeding to my new-found sneaker fetish. Going with the memorable and iconic Hudson’s Bay striped wool blanket, Converse has designed two shoes for both men and women for the Fall 2013 season in the men’s Duck Boot and women’s Helen styles. The sneaker design not only features the iconic stripes, but it follows the equally iconic Jack Purcell sneaker look with the traditional Converse colours.
As of September 1st, these Converse x Hudson’s Bay Company Jack Purcell sneaker collection will be available exclusively at Hudson’s Bay Stores and retailing at $120-$140.
What do you think of the new collaboration? Will you be picking up your own pair?
