Rashida Jones can now add jewlery designer to her resume, collaboarting on a capsule collection with good friends and Dannijo founders, sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder. The 18-piece Fine by Dannijones collection of 10-karat-gold and 14-karat-rose gold is available today on the Dannijo website. Prices range from $98 to $598 and reflect Jones’ laid-back California upbringing but are still suitable for the urban sophisticated customer Dannijo has become a favourite of.
The pieces are dainty and can be worn every day since Jones wanted the pieces to act almost as a second skin. The collection features charms such as pineapples, unicorns, and palm trees, as well as patterns using repetitive arrows on anklets, necklaces, bracelets, rings, ear cuffs, and hand pieces. The arrow is meant to represent a forward motion and positive energy and the charms are meant to be worn either on their own or layered on top of each other.
The delicate minimal pieces are quite a departure from the oversized gem-encrusted necklaces we are used to from Dannijo but the pieces do stand well on their own and I must admit, I already have my eye on about three of them!
