I am beyond excited to share todays blog post because when I heard that TV Star and body positive activist, Roxy Earle would be partnering with one of my absolute favourite brands, Le Château for a clothing and accessories collection, I knew that it was going to include a collection of pieces that I simply had to have!

Before the collection even officially launched, I quickly hopped on the pre-sale shopping on June 6 and picked up a few items to kickstart my wardrobe for summer. As someone who has not only struggled with my weight, but my confidence as well and the difficulties of shopping for my body, I knew that this collection was going to really speak to me on so many levels, and I wasn’t wrong. Available in sizes 0-22 with fashion for any occasion and accessories to match, the Roxy Earle x LE CHÂTEAU Collection is answering every curvy girls dream.

This quote from Roxy was something that specifically caught my eye when the collection dropped. It’s so common for “plus size” fashion to be separate – whether it be separated in the store physically or simply brands only tailored to plus size, but this collection which Roxy created with Le Château shines a light on the idea that women of different sizes can enter just one store and find something they love and fits on their body. The fact that I can get any of my friends and even my mother and sisters to visit Le Château and shop, we can all wear the same item and look amazing!

THAT is truly beautiful and something I hope will spread to more brands as time goes on!

DAY

It was so hard not to get every.single.piece from the collection, but I know that what I picked up when the collection dropped, I was so happy with, and I knew that I would wear it time and time again. This “day’ look is one of my favourite looks of the summer because well, I’m a culotte fan through and through and this matching cropped tie top is just the cutest! Roxy and Le Château did an impeccable job with the fabrics chosen for each piece and even all the details like buttons, ties, etc. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is sometimes when you wear a button down top and the buttons are so far apart – some may not even notice that, but it’s difficult to manage when you’re busty!

I paired this Roxy x LC Stripe Linen Blend Tie Front Crop Top + Stripe Linen Blend Culotte look with my new round faux-straw bag from Guess and ultra comfy wedges from Le Château which I believe are from last years collection.

NIGHT

The best part about the Roxy Earle x Le Château Collection is that the collection covers so many flattering looks for a number of occasions whether you are going for brunch on the weekend or attending a wedding (and even your own). I can’t stress enough how difficult it can be as a curry girl, looking for more affordable formal looks that really flatter the body. I immediately picked up this Satin Wrap-Like Dress when I laid eyes on the collection, and I am counting down the moments until I get to show it off at a formal event. The wrap details make it perfect for any size because the wrap details make it ideal for accentuating curves and allows you to feel like a million bucks.

I paired the look with dramatic earrings and bag and a classic pair of heels which were a great buy from Le Château last year.
