Denham’s S/S 2015 collection has arrived! The Amsterdam based brand explores the difference between the discoverer and the discovered. This idea helps create a collection that blends the two to construct timeless pieces.

Inspiration was derived from archeology’s golden age, when their once hard garments slowly became soft and faded from traveling to different parts of the world. The use of Byzantine motifs and abstract shapes throughout the collection brings a certain edge and interest to each piece. Although bright colours are usually what makes up a spring/summer collection, Denham opted for pale and neutral tones. This allows us to enjoy the collection and the intricate touches that are so cleverly placed. Inspired by the Byzantine theme for spring we see indigo, navy, washed army green and khaki with desaturated hues. The collection then goes into summer with a mixture of tones and pale damascus steel blues.

The collection has essential staple pieces that can be used in your day to day life. There’s a variety of fabrics that help create interesting shapes and textures. From custom printed macintosh featuring Matt Moore’s graphics, bedford cord, to bonded dandy-sweat and Denham’s ReCut deadstock Swedish herringbone trouser twill. The various fabrics used creates a unique personal touch to each piece. Founded in 2008 creator, Jason Denham, sought to create something fresh in the jeans category. Thus, Denham was created, fusing young and fresh ideas with a strong sense of craftsmanship. Not only is this shown in the Denham jeans, but in the garments as well.
