Last month we attended the CoverFX hydration clinic “Drench the Skin You’re In”.  Jenny Frankel, CoverFX Co-creator taught us all about why skin dries out, how to prevent it, how to treat it, and how to look good doing it.

Once we soaked up all of the info (pun intended) we sat down with Derek Selby, CoverFX National Retail Director and CityLine Guest Expert to get colour matched!

Without throwing any long technical words out, we want to tell you this:

1. Skin dries out at the same rate all over your body. Although certain areas may appear to be worse than others, it is simply caused by the thickness of the skin and you’re in-fact dehydrated the same all over.
2. Prevention and treatment will guarantee you the best results and keep you looking gorgeous until you’re grandma’s age…or at least as close as possible without going under the knife.
3. Moisturizers and SPF creams are amazing, but don’t let your skin pampering end there! Make sure you’re primer, foundation, and powders all also doing their job!
4. Maintain a healthy life style that helps hydrate your body and not just your skin! Drinking those eight glasses of water a day won’t cut it. If you need to you can always seek professional advice – visits to the doctor are free after all.
5. Go to bed hydrated! That means using products that strip off the make-up but not the moisture!
