With all the female celebrities out there trying to grab cheap attention, it’s always nice to see those starlets that haven’t allowed the fame to get to their head and have continued to look fresh, flawless and just beautiful. That’s how we feel when we see Eva Mendes in images from Flare Magazine‘s May issue. She is dating hottie Ryan Gosling (jealous much?), but there is no denying that we have respect for this movie star.

Photographed by the talented Guy Aorch, Mendes gets domestic in the spread featuring ladylike looks in Chanel which are styled by Hayley Atkin. You can definitely see that Mendes hasn’t lost her sense of style over the years, but she has definitely grown up from what her previous fashion taste used to be.

ON WEARING BODY-CON:
“It’s not that I’m against body-conscious clothes: I have worn them on the red carpet or out, but when I’m photographed in them, I always regret it. For me, it’s always been the easy way out. When I wear something a little more revealing, I think, Oh, gosh, I should have been more creative… [And] I don’t like when it’s just me and I’m not working. I don’t like feeling like I’m on display… [But] my mother always says she wants to see me in more fitted things! She’s always saying, ‘Show off your body, it’s not always going to be like this!’”

We can’t wait to see more of Eva Mendes on screen and on the red carpet!
