On October 24th, St. Joseph Communications and Fashion Magazine will host the first ever Toronto Fashion Week Awards! Closing off World MasterCard Fashion Week, the Awards are a celebration of Canadian design talent as well as the models, hair and makeup professionals that contribute to each show. Where would we be without them, right?

Hosted by FASHION Magazine’s Editor-In-Chief, Bernadette Morra, the event will be filled with industry influencers and Toronto tastemakers, including retailers, select media, and 100 members of the public who can purchase tickets here to attend. A total of six awards will be presented to the leading figures in Canadian fashion, recognizing creative talent and design excellence across the following categories:

People’s Choice Award for Best Collection will be announced post-event in the February 2015 issue of FASHION Magazine. Guests will be encouraged to vote onsite at the event and on FASHIONMagazine.com two weeks following the ceremony.

“The Awards give our editors an exciting new way to look at Canadian fashion. We won’t just be reporting on the runways, but shining a spotlight on the work we feel is worthy of special recognition,” said Bernadette Morra, Editor-In-Chief of FASHION Magazine. “We’re looking forward to providing due recognition to the breadth and creativity Canadian designers have to offer.”
