Favourite Footwear Picks This Spring
I have to admit that I’m definitely not someone who hates winter, but just like everyone else, when March rolls around, I start counting down the moments until the snow is gone and the greenery grows back.
The one thing that really gets me excited for the upcoming season is the fashion. If you tune into Fashion Weeks around the world, you get a taste of the trends and what to expect well before the snow melts, so since the beginning of the year, I have already anticipated short skirts, flirty dresses and of course, shoes! (And not the ones that are big bulky boots.)
As I’ve mentioned in a prior post, I’m partnering with Dixie Outlet Mall to share with you guys how to find some amazing items on a budget. This month, I knew I was going for shoes! shoes! shoes! Rather than just simply going for shoes that I liked at first sight, I wanted to be smart about my shoe choices for the upcoming season, and complement my existing spring shoe collection. It’s all about these three essentials for spring:
The Sandal
It may be self explanatory, but when the warm weather rolls around, sandals are a must. Whether your go-to is a flat sandal for weekends, or a comfortable, yet stylish heel for both work and play, spring is the perfect time to let your pedi shine and enjoy the warmth. I picked up these gorgeous olive green sandals from Sirens for only $34.99. I had also been looking for the perfect sandal that can be worn with a perfect spring skirt or dress, so these flat Steve Madden sandals for $49.99 from Winners were a steal, and I am already anticipating the patio brunches I’ll be sporting them at!
The Sneaker
Maybe it’s the Sporty Spice in me, but I love a good sneaker. Sneakers are no longer just a workout essential, but a clean sneaker can really transform a look. While some love to go casual with a sneaker, I absolutely love to pair sneakers with a contrasting dress or mini skirt to switch things up! I dare you to give it a shot and pick up a stylish sneaker to wear on the weekend in spring.
The Loafer
The loafer has become incredibly popular over the years – especially the last, and while I already jumped on this bandwagon last season, I am always open to adding more to my collection. A great loafer can work for so many occasions, so I look at them as an essential, and whether you prefer a mule-style, which is backless, or a full loafer that can be worn with anything from a dress to denim, you won’t regret picking up a pair of loafers! I snagged this pair for just $19.99 from Sirens, and I already love the slip-on style.
There you have it! You can’t go wrong with any of these spring essentials shoes, so be sure to head into Dixie Outlet Mall so you can snag each of these at an amazing price!
