Florals for summer? What else is new!?

There isn’t a single gal that I know who doesn’t love pretty florals in the spring and summertime. The truth is though that you just can’t go wrong with florals around this time of year – or any time of year for that matter. There is just something about a pretty floral dress that makes me feel like a girly girl, and this dress is no different.

While scanning the racks at Marshalls on Yonge St, I stumbled across this beauty and at first, I didn’t even think it would work. I loved the print of course, but I just didn’t think it would work with my figure, but I was so happy once I tried it on (at home because I really hate trying on clothes at stores). Flirty, easy breezy and super comfortable, I have already worn this dress countless times and even yesterday with some flat sandals for my friends baby shower!

For this look, I paired the dress with my new favourite wedges of the summer. I eyed these puppies on Le Chateau’s website and instead of visiting stores to try them on, I just ordered them online right away. SO comfortable and chic, these wedges work with so many different looks from denim to dresses and skirts and the rope details is my favourite part! I actually picked up a second pair of shoes this month because these were so affordable and really, Le Chateau’s shoe collection right now is BOMB!
