On October 8th, we we’re invited to a special launch of designer pocket squares. But don’t get it twisted, these were no ordinary men’s pocket squares, these were designed by non other than Gary Taxali! Gary Taxali is an award-winning Canadian illustrator whose work has appeared in GQ, Rolling Stone Magazine, The New York Times, just to name a few.
Last fall, the inaugural series celebrated the culturally-rich heritage of Canada and featured cities – Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver and Canada. This season, Gary Taxali teaches the modern man The Art of Flirtation with his new series. Each pocket square has a flirty fun message such as “I ♥ Us”, “Wink/Why Not Me”, “Crushing Big Time/ Make It Count”, “Call Me/Never Call Me” and “You Had Me at Good Bye/My Feelings Like You”. If you were lucky enough to purchase one at the event, Gary Taxali was adding his signature to make yours a limited edition.
The Art of Flirtation pocket squares by Gary Taxali are sold exclusively at Harry Rosen.
Public Relations by day, blogger by night. Tushar Bharadia started his own music blog called Heroin Tracks in 2010 with a focus on Canadian talent. Since its inception, Heroin Tracks grew and attracted international artists from around the world. Though he loves his music, Tushar has always had a love for fashion and enjoys mixing varsity and street fashion together. You’ll see him wearing a snapback with G-Star jeans and a pair of oxfords. Let’s just say, he’s not your usual mens fashion blogger.
