Since November when we briefly discussed our excitement about the new Giambattista Valli x MAC Collection here, we’ve been eagerly awaiting more details of the much anticipated collation and now, we have it!

After celebrating 10 years of partnering together behind-the-scenes at fashion week, designer Giambattista Valli and MAC Cosmetics have collaborated on a floral-inspired and ultra feminine collection that includes five vibrant matte lipsticks, including complimentary colours of soft pink, hot pink, pale peach, black cherry and a deep brown to remind us of a full garden filled with the prettiest blooms. The collection also features a clear gloss to transform the lipsticks into 10 different combinations to celebrate the long lasting relationship between the two brands.

The designer told Yahoo Beauty, “We wanted to do something collectable for the 10 years of Giambattista Valli — we thought it would be nice to have a collaboration and do something impactful. Lipstick can really almost change a personality or the face of a woman. My collections are always colorful. It’s my signature point. I’m not afraid about colors, flowers, patterns. Everybody has his own identity. There are some designers that are known just for the black.”

The 5-colour collection including a crystal glaze gloss, is set to hit select MAC locations on July 9th. That means you only have a few short weeks to plan your attack of getting your hands on the collection!
