EAT

It’s difficult writing about the food at The Beverley Hotel, only because memories pop up of the menu tasting and we are reminded of ALL the delicious food here. Where to begin!

The mastermind behind the menu at the Beverley is run by the talented and sweet Chef Eric Wood, whose vision is truly inspiring. Everything that came out looked picture perfect, and tasted just as delectable.  When asked how he designed the menu, he said he wanted to make it “approachable, simple but pretty and fun”. He also impressed everyone at the table when he explained that he wanted to create a menu that featured local ingredients with a local sensibility  and also added that he is not afraid of spices and strong flavours. Well, neither are we!

If that hasn’t already caught your attention, you MUST try the BVLY Burger. Yes, you may have had numerous burgers before in your lifetime, but truthfully, nothing like this. Shown above, the picture does not do justice. The taste of watermelon ( I know, watermelon? But really, we’re not kidding) is such a refreshing change as the taste mixed with the pickle and Guernsey cheese is something we have never come across before. Not to forget about the rest of the menu, expect to eat only the best with items on their menu.

DRINK

When you initially enter the Beverley Hotel, you are greeted by a beautiful design and a very welcoming front entrance way. The bar alone is the perfect setting for after work drinks or a quick bite with a close friend. The space of the Beverley Hotel provides customers with a total experience that includes flowing space, and engaging décor.

The drinks at the chic boutique hotel is everything you want and more. The drink menu was inspired by the whims of Old Hollywood and the Prohibition era. Their vintage-inspired cocktails are crafted also using fresh local ingredients and house-made infusions so you know what you are about to enjoy is going to be fresh and delicious.

Whether its lunch, dinner or a quick drink, The Beverley restaurant is open Monday through Sunday 11am-2am. If you plan to stop by for dinner, reservations are suggested.

When you stay at The Beverley Hotel, you are lucky to be in the midst of shopping and entertainment with just about everything at your finger tips. Though we are in August and Fall will be upon us soon, there is still tons of time to enjoy the beautiful and stylish rooftop at the Beverley Hotel. Keeping with a simple and clean layout, the design captures the essence of the tropics without becoming cliché or trite, which in Toronto, is so refreshing.

The corner booth pictured below is going to be the best spot in the house. This area is quaint, intimate and beautiful and an ideal setting for drinks with your bff’s or with someone you are just getting to know. Food and drinks are also served on the rooftop with a“grill and chill” mantra, the rooftop creates the comfort and ease of an outdoor BBQ.
