Ever wanted to climb all 1,776 stairs in the CN Tower yet found no reason to try? Well, here is your chance. October 19, 2014 is the public climb for anyone interested in raising funds for United Way. Not only are you assisting with helping families in need but you’re also experiencing something you will probably never take part in again.
Coming from someone who took part last year, this right here is definitely an experience. There will be times when you want to stop however, once you reach the top, you’ll be glad you finished.
The following are key details surrounding this event:
- Date: Saturday, October 18, 2014
- Time: 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Early-bird special: Arrive by 7 a.m. and get a two-for-one voucher for a return visit to the CN Tower
- Minimum fundraising requirement: $75 (all Public Climb climbers must raise and submit this minimum by Wednesday, October 8, at 5 p.m., to participate in the event and to receive an electronic timing chip; and to access the express registration line at the event.
- Check-in location: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building, Hall C, 255 Front Street West.
- Check-in time and timing-chip pickup: 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. (participants must check in before 10 a.m. or they will not be permitted to climb)
- Registration: Online and in-person (on event day)
All funds raised for the 2014 Enbridge CN Tower Climb for United Way go directly into helping to build a city where every person is able to reach their full potential.
