Spark Sessions, Canada’s first fashion and beauty blogger conference, is returning for its second year this November to conclude educate bloggers with their annual two-day conference. Held on Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th at District 28, attendees will get the best insights and tips from an array of high quality online media, blogging and PR speakers.

“This second year for Spark Sessions has been about growing from the success of our inaugural conference and building more opportunities for bloggers to learn specific aspects of blogging,” says Marissa Anwar, founder of Spark Sessions. “This conference is a great closing to 12 months of workshops, interactive online activities online for delegates, and connecting more and more bloggers across Canada.”

In 2014, Anwar and her executive team – Anjali Handa, Anum Khan, Deanne Castro, Elaine Atkins, Jenny Jovanovic, Melissa Grosser and Nicole Wilson – have taken the conference to the next level. The number of attendees for this year’s conference nearly tripled, growing from 100 bloggers in 2013 to over 250 bloggers in 2014. The creation of new and innovative speaker sessions and smaller workshops have been added to the schedule this year, along with returning favourite activities such as the blogger speeding dating program and brand booths for the conference’s sponsors.

The conference’s dynamic roster of speakers this year include Sara Koonar – Editor-in-Chief of 29 Secrets, Sabrina Maddeaux – Fashion Editor for NOW Magazine, Kat Peterson – Vice President, Digital, for eLuxe, and Lena Almeida – Founder of the popular Canadian blog, Listen to Lena, with the Spark Sessions’ spectacular keynote speakers to be announced closer to the conference.
