If you’re looking for some design inspiration, what better place than a designers home. But really, how often do we get a chance to see inside a celebrity designer’s space and see the fabrics they chose, the paint colours they have on their walls and the accessories they picked to pull it all together?
At the 2015 National Home Show, I was able to get a sneak peek at celebrity design duo Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan’s ultimate oasis – their bedroom (see above)! And even better, after walking the show floor I was able to find some inspiration for recreating their bedroom and rustic, yet elegant feel with new and innovative finds from the show.
Here’s what I found if you’re interested in recreating their rustic charm boudoir in your home:

Barn Wall mural (you won’t believe it’s not real wood) by artist Donn Petelka, Mural Unique

Salvaged Barn Doors, Patterson’s Fine Furniture
Note: Original doors featured on Colin & Justin’s Cabin Pressure were custom made by Toronto-based www.Rebarn.ca.

Durango Chandelier from Arteriors, available at Designer Inspired Interiors

Bella Tufted Upholstered Headboard, Casalife

Decor-Rest Furniture Ottoman, Alta Moda Furniture
The National Home Show, presented by RE/MAX and co-located with Canada Blooms takes place at at the Direct Energy Centre March 13-22.
