GOTO Style: Put a Scarf On It

It’s obvious how “on trend” scarves have become over the last while, but I couldn’t be more thrilled because I’ve always had a special love for scarves. Short, long, printed, silk – the list goes on, but for someone like me who doesn’t always deck themselves in accessories, there is something about a scarf that makes me feel like it’s more like a clothing piece than an accessory.

Last year my mom went through some of her closet and as usual, she brought me along for the “ride” so I can snag any items that I just won’t find anywhere else. Aside from this scarf, she gave me another two which are sure to be featured here, but for now, I am loving this silk scarf with a graphic brown, beige and white print. There really is something so special about pieces that have been passed down…

For the cherry on top, the scarf perfectly matched my Le Chateau strappy pumps that have been on repeat lately! A little late to the party, these heels were my February shoe pick as a Le Chateau ambassador, and though it’s still early on in the year, they happen to be my favourite pick yet!
