June Beauty Favourites

Can you believe we are in July already? I have no idea where the time is going, but I’m trying to enjoy the summer as much as humanly possible.

This month was a bit rough in the beauty department for me, but I’m staying hopeful. My hair is getting dry and my bangs are growing so you know what that means – I have no idea how to deal with them in the heat. I also had a breakout after I got back from Miami at the beginning of the month, so naturally, my beauty has been geared towards caring for my wonky skin and my makeup has been focused on making me look, well, awake!

As much as this was a rough month for me, it was a good month for my beauty bag, so keep scrolling for some of my favourites from June!

Vichy Mineral 89

I have been a faithful Vichy user for years now and this product was perfect for my skin this month.The Mineral 89 Booster is a fortifying and hydrating daily skin booster with a pure and powerful formula concentrated with 89% Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water. Since my skin has been feeling and looking blah, I’ve been going for some face masks at night and then applying this Mineral 89 to my face so that it can help hydrate and strengthen my skin while protecting it from other factors that seem to be taking over this month like stress, fatigue and this weird temperamental weather!

NARS Orgasm Liquid Blush

Like the previous brand,  I have been faithful to NARS Cosmetics for years now, and each product has me falling more and more in love with them. Their latest Liquid Blush collection is the bomb.com. Seriously. This product arrived right before my Miami vacation and I wore it the entire time! Weightless and smooth to the skin, it has become my go-to beauty product for the warm weather. Not to mention the colour is gorgeous as well as the other hues available in the collection!

Tip: Apply Orgasm powder blush to the lids as an eyeshadow and apply orgasm lipstick for an allover pink/peachy makeup look! 

Kenzo World Perfume

I have always loved the Kenzo brand, and this perfume is no different. This scent is what summer dreams are made of with notes of peony and jasmine along with radiant Ambroxan crystals to embody the Kenzo spirit: a celebration of freedom of expression, diversity, and creativity. The bottle itself is beautiful showcasing rose gold and opaline with its iconic eye that can be seen from all angles of the bottle.

Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional

When it comes to Benefit, they have my heart when it comes to my brows, but just recently, I have become obsessed with their POREfessional products. My pores are the bane of my existence, so I’ve been clinging to their primer and pore minimizing makeup. The primer has been around for some time, but it’s amazing when you need to minimize the appearance of your pores. For me, I find that around my cheeks and chin area, my pores were so visible even after applying primers and foundations and then a finishing powder, but after using the POREfessional primer, my skin look smooth and clear!
