Just Diners and Dives
Just this past Saturday, my sister and I made plans to finally make it to White Lily Diner for some brunching and a good walk along Queen St. East. I have no doubt that most of you have seen Guy Fiere’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, so naturally, I live vicariously through him and virtually visit every diner in the best cities, so Saturday felt a little (very little) like that. White Lily Diner was not only delicious, but the vibe was one I love.
Not exactly a stereotypically “Blogger pretty” spot, White Lily Diner is the kind of diner you would think of when a diner comes to mind. The yellow booth style seating and the vintage photography on the walls made for the perfect setting on a gloomy weekend afternoon. For the occasion, I wore a simple but every-day look. GAP currently has a huge sale, so naturally I picked up more sweaters and denim!
Now that winter will soon be on its way, I want to make it a point to shoot content inside some of my favourite spots in and around Toronto as much as possible. There really is something about shooting indoors at a cute spot that make me smile like a little girl!
