Just IN: Mackage Kai Backpack

With so much content to cover for the blog, sometimes all I really want to do is just take the time to talk about the things that really stand out to me. No big purpose, no tips, tricks or how to go about making life easier, better or more delightful, but instead, I want to just get back to little ol me and the things I like. Ultimately, the reason why Girls of T.O was started.

That’s why I’ve decided to start my ‘Just IN’ category for the blog. This is where I’ll focus on an item – any item that has really stood out to me! For my first post, I’m getting into this Kai Backpack from Mackage. Gorgeous, right? I had been on the hunt for the perfect backpack for months and months, and when I was perusing Shopbop, I came across this bad boy. It was fate when I got to shop Shopbop’s Friends and Family Event at 25% off. Yup, not only did I find a backpack I loved, but it was on S.A.L.E!

I have to admit that I was looking at a few different style backpacks but with the help of my Twitter followers and fellow blogger gals, I knew this was the bag I needed. The Kai backpack by Mackage is a stunning brushed leather backpack in matte black so it can go with anything and everything. At first I debated on something more beige, but this leather is just pure beauty. The Foldover flap with hook and loop closure and gunmetal hardware adds a beautiful touch to the bag which makes me feel like this isn’t just a regular “backpack”.
