Fresh from her role as Meg Rayburn, the female lead in the hotly-anticipated Netflix series Bloodline, Linda Cardellini graces the May issue of Glow Magazine, on newsstands April 9. The Emmy-nominated actress, for her role as Don Draper’s mistress next door in Mad Men, and Freaks and Geeks alum sat down with Glow to chat about her upcoming flick Daddy’s Home opposite Will Ferrell, motherhood, marriage and more in the below excerpts from this exclusive interview:

On the love scenes shared with Jon Hamm in Mad Men:

“It’s another day at work. You get a lot of those days when you are an actress, and it’s an interesting and strange part of the job.”

On her changing tastes in projects since becoming a mother:

“I see the world through a different lens. I used to love watching scary movies or crime-driven things. To be reminded of that kind of ugliness is different when your sole purpose is protecting someone.”

On her role in Daddy’s Home, playing the best friend of Kristen Wiig’s character, who has borderline personality disorder:

“It’s not the most generous disease to those who are loving you.”
