2 Wardrobe Essentials You Need Right Now

If you’ve been following the blog for some time or have any idea about my personal style, you would notice that I not only consider denim an essential, but a necessity!

A great pair of denim can do wonders. Whether you are sporting your favourite pair for casual Friday’s at the office, or spending your weekends in a sleek pair of skinny jeans while hanging out with friends, there are countless ways to style your denim. While some who are close to me might say that I own “too many” pairs of denim, I knew that there was still room in my wardrobe for a new bootcut pair.

I was asked by Reitmans to style a pair of their denim and a pick from their R Essentials collection which consists of all the kind of basics every gal needs in her wardrobe like tees, tanks and my fave, crisp button down blouses. Since this is literally my go-to look, so I was all for taking part! I actually already own 2 pairs of denim from Reitmans but I was on the hunt for a great bootcut pair. I also wore a similar top in my last Reitmans look, so you know the love is REAL!

I have admit that sometimes I struggle to find the perfect pair of bootcut because not only am I somewhat tall, this girl has got curves, so the length of the jeans sometimes aren’t long enough or the space from my inseam to my button is too short, but this pair is absolute perfection! I picked up the bootcut style in tall so the length would work with a pair of heeled booties and the mid-rise can hit me in a flattering place.
