Minimalistic Spring Wreath
If you know me at all, you know how much I love florals, plants and greenery. And if you really know me, you would know how often my home is filled with all of these pretty things, so now that Spring is upon us, its the perfect time for me to have fun with florals in a fun way!
While I do live in a condo, sometimes I can, let’s just say, run out of space to put all the flowers I pick up, so I decided to put together a pretty spring wreath to put on my door so it can feel like spring (even though the weather hasn’t exactly clued in just yet). This diy wreath is super easy to make, and really there are no rules for how huge or minimal you want it to look!
I actually picked up a few roses and ranunculus over the weekend along with silver dollar eucalyptus and other greenery pieces, but I actually opted out of the big flowers and stuck to a more whimsical minimalistic version! I love how it turned out and I think this could be perfect for Easter W
NEED:
- Fresh florals and greenery
- Wire hoop
- scissors or wire shears
- green plant wire
INSTRUCTIONS:
- My wire hoop was originally silver so I had to spray paint it gold for the desired look. If you are able to get gold or prefer silver, you can skip this step.
- Start with your larger greenery and begin by cutting a small piece of plant wire and wrap the greenery around the hoop like in the example above. Continue doing this in the arrangement you like whether it be a full wreath or 3/4 around like I have.
- Overlap each piece of greenery over the previous plant wire that you wrapped so the wire can remain hidden.
- Once all your greenery is on, look to fill spots where needed and finish off with any florals you like!
