With Fall, comes new beauty products to try and love, including some new foundation and powder (because Lord knows your tan is gone and you need the right shade to kick start your face for the new season). For Fall, NARS Cosmetics introduces their All Day Luminous Powder Foundation. Silky and ultrafine to the touch, this medium buildable foundation offers versatile coverage and shine control with broad-spectrum SPF 25/PA+++ that lasts up to 12-hours. Ladies, I can’t stress enough how important SPF is even though Summer is over.
NARS exclusive Light Reflecting ComplexTM optimizes light reflection to enhance skin’s translucency while Luminosity Enhancing Technology – a blend of 17 amino acids, Vitamin C derivative and Marine Fennel which promotes cell renewal and helps reduce the look of hyper-pigmentation and wrinkles.
The best part about this product is the the ability to create a natural luminous finish using a dry sponge, or using a dampened sponge for a soft- matte finish.
Shades include:
- Siberi – Light with neutral balance of pink and yellow undertones
- Mont Blanc – Light with pink undertones
- Deauville – Light with a neutral balance of pink and yellow undertones
- Fiji – Light with yellow undertones
- Punjab – Medium with golden, peachy undertones
- Vallauris – Medium with pink undertone
- Santa Fe – Medium with peachy undertones
- Stromboli – Medium with olive undertones
- Barcelona – Medium with golden, peachy undertones
- Syracuse – Medium-dark with brown undertones
- Tahoe – Medium-dark with caramel undertones
- Cadiz – Medium-dark with caramel and red undertones
- Macao – Medium-dark with yellow undertones
I tested out the Syracuse shade and since initially trying it out, I haven’t gone a makeup application without it. The soft texture really sits well on my face without feeling thick or heavy allowing my skin to still breath.
NARS All Day Luminous Powder Foundation is vailable for $55 as of October 1 at select NARS retailers (including Sephora, Hudson’s Bay, Holt Renfrew, and Murale) and www.narscosmetics.com.
