NARS Cosmetics has released new Matte Multiple shades which are multi-use makeup sticks that can be used wet or dry for versatile cheek or lip application.
I am someone who carries around lipstick 24/7. No matter where I am, I find that carrying lipstick for a quick application is helpful to looking your best. When I don’t have other makeup with me, I tend to dab my lipstick onto my fingers and then lightly smudge onto my cheeks. NARS’ Matte Multiple sticks are very similar to this idea. These sun-kissed and vibrant colours can be applied to both lips and cheeks and can easily be converted into a wet or dry look, depending on what you want. The creamy, lightweight formula delivers a buildable and long lasting colour that wears well over as well as under liquid foundation. If you happen to be a natural beaut, this product works well over bare skin too.
I was given a Matte Multiple in EXUMAS (pink apricot shade) to test, and was instantly in love with the colour. After using it, I really enjoyed the idea of a product that is multipurpose. The stick glided perfectly on my cheeks, and once applied to my lips, it gave them an incredibly soft texture. I can just picture it for a day at the beach, when you don’t want to layer on makeup, but you desire that touch of colour on your cheeks and lips.
The collection features 7 shades: Anguilla (Ginger Pink), Exumas (Pink Apricot), Siam (Poppy Red), Cappadoce (Golden Bronze), Laos (Rose Coral), Altai (Rose Bronze) and Vientiane (Copper Bronze). I would love to get my hands on Siam, since it’s a vibrant hue that would look great post-swim in the summertime with a slicked ponytail.
