Nespresso on Ice Tiramisu Affogato Recipe
If you read my last Nespresso post here on the blog that was all about the new Nespresso On Ice, then you would have noticed just how much I’ve been enjoying their iced coffee for the summer, so this time around, I just had to share a recipe using it!
Since the boyfriend loved my Tiramisu Parfait recipe, I was convinced that I had to put together another Tiramisu concoction, but I was hoping to mix things up. While I love an affogato as much as the next guy, I really wanted to use an iced coffee version so that I can treat it more like a float than an affogato and that is where the Nespresso Intenso On Ice came in.
For a hot summer day, I’ve been loving this simple Tiramisu affogato recipe that can be perfectly enjoyed as a dessert on the balcony with the boyfriend. Learn how to make this delicious summer Nespresso recipe below and make it for your guests the next time they visit. They’ll thank you for it!
Nespresso on Ice Tiramisu Affogato Recipe
For the No Churn Coffee Ice Cream
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk (I prefer Eagle Brand)
- 1/2 cup of brewed Nespresso on Ice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
In a large bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Dissolve instant coffee granules in warm water and stir into heavy cream mixture along with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
Pour ice cream mixture into an airtight container and freeze for 5-6 hours or overnight.
For the Affogato
Ingredients:
- Coffee ice cream
- 6 Ladyfingers
- 1 1/4 cups freshly brewed Nespresso On Ice
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
Directions:
Take one ladyfinger, crumble with your hands and place at the bottom of your cup, then add one generous scoop of coffee ice cream to the cup.
Pour Nespresso On Ice over ice cream and ladyfinger crumbles.
Use a strainer to dust cocoa powder on top and place a ladyfinger on top for dipping.
