Nespresso Iced Coffee Recipe

Just because we’ve been feeling the summer heat lately here in Toronto, it doesn’t necessarily mean that I am not enjoying my daily intake of Nespresso coffee. However, the heat can sometimes make you crave something cooler and something that will give you the refreshing Nespresso taste while cooling you down in the heat.

It is only this year that I’ve really started to enjoy Iced Coffee. I’m not exactly sure why I never indulged in them before, but with my love for Nespresso growing each day, I knew that the arrival of the hot summer would be the perfect time to try it. I had also just opened up my new VertuoLine machine which came with an assortment of flavours, so I’ve been throwing together my favourite iced coffee recipes to take to work or enjoy with the boyfriend on our balcony during warm weekends.

I’ve been loving all of the features that come with the VertuoLine machine. It’s one-button push process makes for effortless brewing and automatic disposal feature fills a bin on the side while the other is saved for water for the perfect brew. While all flavours offer something different, I’m partial to the Hazelino flavour. I’m a sucker for hazelnut, so when testing out some iced coffee concoctions, Hazelino has become my go-to! Keep scrolling for a step by step on how to make a yummy Hazelino Iced Coffee using the Nespresso VertuoLine machine:

Ingredients

  • capsule of Hazelino Grands Crus (8 oz)
  • 2 oz of cold milk
  • scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • ice cubes
  • crushed ice

Instructions

  • Prepare the cold milk froth using the steam nozzle of your Nespresso machine or the Aeroccino milk frother
  • Prepare the capsule of Hazelino Grands Crus (8 oz)
  • Pour the lungo into the bowl with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and 3 ice cubes
  • Mix all the ingredients together
  • Pour the contents into a glass and top with cold milk froth
  • Serve with crushed ice if desired
