Last night, we tuned into the the biggest and most important award show of the year, the Oscars. While we may have felt like this years show was a little bit of a snoozefest with host, Neil Patrick Harris, who really didn’t wow us as we had hoped, we can’t ignore some of our favourite moments of the night. Performances from Lady Gaga with her tribute to The Sound of Music and the beautiful acceptance speeches that had us a little choked up, we can’t help but admit that aside from the awards, it’s our top 5 Oscars 2015 best dressed on the red carpet that have us reliving the night!

Emma Stone has been killing it on the red carpet lately, and seeing her in this stunning Elie Saab number is just perfection on her. The colour, the silhouette and the sparkle…we love!

This may not be a typical JLo figure-hugging dress but we love the Disney princess look on her. The blush nude Elie Saab gown works with her complexion perfectly and the ponytail is a beautiful soft touch!

She may not be an actress, but we just couldn’t take our eyes off of Chrissy Teigen in a powder blue Zuhair Murad gown. We would have preferred a softer lip, but we appreciate the contrast between the light coloured gown and dark lips and nails.

Reese Witherspoon just looked sleek and sophisticated in a black and white blue Tom Ford dress. We still can’t decide if the dress is a soft blue or white, but either way, the dress fit Reese like a glove and we just can’t get enough of her!

We are so happy to see the beautiful Rosemund Pike in a flattering dress this time around, and opted for this vibrant red Givenchy gown. At first glance, we weren’t exactly sure how we felt about the gown, but we love the silhouette and scallop top and sexy slit. Her hair pulled back was a sophisticated touch too!
