One of our favourite shoe retailers, ALDO Shoes has announced their newest collaboration for ALDO RISE with U.K. label, Ostwald Helgason. The duo, which consits of Susanne Ostwald and Ingvar Helgason have previously featured ALDO Shoes in their previous runway shows, so it was a no brainer for ALDO to team up with the brand to produce accessories for the first time.  Ostwald Helgason will offer a full range of both footwear and handbags, yes handbags this time, to complete the look and get that matching purse to your Ostwald Helgason shoes!

The new collaboration follows previous designers, Preen, Mark Fast and J.W Anderson who have all participated in ALDO RISE, so if these sketches are any indication, this new collaboration will not disappoint!

“Ostwald Helgason has been on our radar for about two years now. Their subversive use of colour and pattern, the luxe yet effortless quality of their design sensibility, and the mash-up of fine art references with modern technology translates beautifully to footwear – so beautifully in fact, that we had todo handbags aswell,”explains Douglas Bensadoun, Creative Director – VP Marketing for ALDO. “We also have a rule that we only partner with nice people. Susanne and Ingvar are really lovely, after our first meeting we all looked at each other and said ‘it’s on’.”
