With the warmer weather finally here, we can’t deny a refreshing cocktail after a hard days work or entertaining friends. Lucky for us, these new Perrier Summer Cocktails are the perfect addition to our summer plans!
Created by Toronto mixologist, Sarah Parniak, these specialty cocktails are a delicious combination of Perrier and other fresh ingredients including strawberries, cucumbers mint to name a few.
See below for the ingredients and recipes for each cocktail and share with us your favourite mix with Perrier!
Primavera Smash
Ingredients
- 11⁄2oz Gin
- 3⁄4 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 1⁄2 oz Lavender syrup
- 1 Large strawberry, sliced
- 3 Slices English cucumber
- 5 Mint leaves + extra sprig of mint for garnish
- 5 oz Perrier Lime
METHOD
Muddle all ingredients well (except the Perrier) in a double rocks glass. Add ice and top with 5 oz Perrier Lime. Garnish with a slice of cucumber and a generous sprig of fresh mint.
Ingredients
- 1oz Tequila
- 1⁄2 oz Apéritif liqueur
- 3⁄4 oz Fresh lime juice
- 1⁄2 oz Runny agave syrup
- 6 Basil leaves
- Pinch of sea salt
- 4 oz Perrier Pink Grapefruit
METHOD
Combine all ingredients (except the Perrier) into a cocktail shaker and shake well. Fine strain the mixture into a tall glass with ice. Top with 4 oz Perrier Pink Grapefruit. Garnish with a sprig of fresh basil.
Ingredients
- 11⁄2oz AgedRum
- 1 oz Pineapple Cinnamon Syrup
- 1⁄2Fresh Lime Juice
- 1⁄2 Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Eggwhite
- 2 Dashes Angostura bitters
- 3 oz Perrier L’Orange
Pineapple cinnamon syrup:
- 8 oz Pineapple Juice
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 4.8oz Sugar
METHOD
Pineapple cinnamon syrup: Bring 8 oz pineapple juice with 1 cinnamon stick to a simmer. Add 4.8 oz sugar and dissolve. Remove from heat and let it cool. It’ll keep in the fridge for up to a week.
Cocktail: Dry shake all ingredients (except the Perrier, with no ice) vigorously for a good 30 seconds or more until frothy. Add ice and shake again. Fine strain the mixture into a chilled wine glass and top with 3 oz Perrier L’Orange. Garnish with another dash of Angostura bitters and a skewered orange slice.
Bonus: Enjoy the leftover pineapple cinnamon syrup to prepare this easy sparkling pineapple lemonade! Mix fresh squeezed lemon and pineapple syrup, and then top with Perrier L’Orange.
