After a week full of sunshine and a glimpse of spring, we can all raise our glasses to the possibility of being warm again. To help you celebrate, here is a recipe from Queen East’s The Carbon Bar, an exclusive cocktail that you can now make at home…and there are veggies involved to it is healthy(ish).
The Snap Dragon
2oz Beefeater 24 gin
2oz bright green sugar snap pea and Thai basil purée
3/4oz lime juice
3/4 to 1oz spicy Thai chilli chamomile simple syrup
dash grapefruit bitters
Hard shake all ingredients and serve in a Collins glass – top with ginger beer.
Garnish with pea shoots.
