Scarborough Town Centre Debuts #TASTEMRKT

Not only did I grow up in Scarborough, but I also currently reside there, so I have come to know the city like the back of my hand. I’ve seen stores and buildings come and go over the years and places like Scarborough Town Centre have become more of a second home than a shopping centre. What can I say; it’s the fashion and beauty lover inside me!

Scarborough Town Centre has gone through a number of changes over the years – new stores, new features and even structural changes, but recently, the shopping centre has gone through a huge upgrade and I am so thrilled.

Knowing that no shopping experience is complete without tasty eats, STC has introduced TASTE MRKT – a premium food and dining experience that allows shoppers to refuel and recharge in between shopping.

The expansion not only features a completely new lower level but TASTE MRKT now has cutlery service and more comfortable and chic seating which really creates an upscale feel and elevates the entire experience.

Aside from the food favourites, there are a few new vendors that are now part of TASTE MRKT featuring flavours from around the world:

• Biryani

• Brioche Doree

• Chipotle Mexican Grill

• Mii Sandwich Company

• Naan & Kabob

• Pannizza

• Real Fruit Bubble Tea

• Wasabi Grill & Noodle

The lower level food court is complete and looks stunning, but we will have to wait until May 2017 to see the finished upper level. Since I live so close to Scarborough Town I have been watching the changes ever so gradually and I am itching to see the last and final reveal. The upper level is set to showcase a unique dining atmosphere for shoppers with an interior-patio style seating underneath the existing skylight. Sounds beautiful, doesn’t it?

As if the new dining experience wasn’t enough, Scarborough Town Centre is also scheduled to introduce three premium, fast-casual, full-service restaurants, two quick-service food brands and 12 retail stores, featuring high-quality fashion and lifestyle brands.

To celebrate all of the amazing happenings at STC and the opening of TASTE MRKT, they are running a contest for shoppers to win a $500 STC gift card!
