Scent of the Moment – Mon Guerlain
“A fragrance created out of admiration for the women of today.
A few drops like an invisible tattoo on the skin give the women who wear it the confidence to own their decisions and their dreams to reveal all their many subtle nuances to make them feel beautiful.”
Just last week I was invited to a Guerlain event to get a first glimpse of their latest fragrance, Mon Guerlain which just so happens to drop today.
It was there that we were introduced to the vision, as well as the muse for whom Thierry Wasser, Guerlain’s Master Perfumer, drew his inspiration from. As we all stood at Design Exchange in anticipation of further details on the new perfume, the French beauty brand announced that Angelina Jolie had been named the icon of its new fragrance for women. Guerlain firmly believed that Jolie was the perfect choice to represent the new fragrance as she could embody all the notes of a woman made of choices, dreams, love, passion, beauty, commitment, strength and freedom. And it was Jolie who Guerlain knew could inspire the notes for a woman which are at the heart of the new fragrance.
The stunning quadrilobe bottle design was dreamt up by Gabriel Guerlain and perfectly compliments the fresh woody fragrance that includes notes of jasmine, sandalwood, lavender and vanilla. It really is a stunning fragrance and one that is right up my alley.
Mon Guerlain can be found in stores beginning today and will be available in 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml. If you want to discover more about Mon Guerlain, visit here!
