Following up after the release of the new La Boulange treats available at Starbucks locations in Ontario and BC, Starbucks introduces Cold Brew Coffee as a new option for Canadian customers to explore in select cafes in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta on March 31st.

Carefully handcrafted in small batches by baristas every day, Starbucks Cold Brew will be featured as a permanent menu item at 130 locations across downtown Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary.

To create the new beverage, baristas freshly grind special Cold Brew Blend coffee, combine it with cool water and slowly steep it for 20 hours in a Toddy Brewer. With Cold Brew, time replaces heat to extract the coffee. Because the beans never come into contact with hot water, the flavours that emerge are rich and naturally sweet with a smooth finish, compared to the bright and roasty Starbucks Iced Coffee, which is brewed hot.
