#StarbucksHoliDIY Gift Card Giveaway
It’s just a week until Christmas and as we prep for the holiday festivities, we can’t deny that a part of what we love about this time of year is giving gifts to our friends and loved ones. While some may find that gift cards aren’t a personal option, I think that creating a DIY can completely change that.
Personalizing a gift card as as last minute gift can be a really fun and charming idea for the holidays so I’ve put together a simple DIY that works perfectly with the adorable Starbucks gift cards I have for some besties on my list! Their gift cards alone are adorable with 48 unique and beautiful designs which happen to be created by a Starbucks Partner/employee. From ‘Cheers Bro’ to a ‘Hello Lovely’ design, there is a gift card look for everyone.
Not only is a gift card a convenient option for yourself or as a gift, but it’s the perfect excuse to register the Starbucks card to become a member of their loyalty program called My Starbucks Rewards. As a member of My Starbucks Rewards you can earn your way to free drinks and food, plus get access to personalized and exclusive offers. It’s as simple as registering your card on the APP, and you’ll be able to use your phone to pay for your items as well as earn, redeem and track your rewards.
PLUS, this holiday season My Starbucks Rewards members will have the chance to win Starbucks for Life. 2 lucky Canadians will win this grand prize, but many more will also win Starbucks for a month or a week, or other bonus prizes.

What You’ll Need:
- Clipboard
- Chalkboard Spray Paint
- Rose Gold Spray Paint
- Chalk or Chalk Marker
- Scissors
- Painters Tape
- Gift Cards (Starbucks of course!)
Instructions:
- Start by using painters tape to outline a frame for where the chalkboard will be.
- Spray paint the entire clipboard in your desired shades. I went with KRYLON Metallic Spray Paint in a pretty copper.
- Once the paint dries, use painters tape to outline the chalkboard box and then spray with chalkboard paint. You will need multiple coats to achieve the chalkboard look.
- Remove painters take and Voila!
- Use a chalkboard marker to have some fun!
