Croatia

We’ve heard nothing but great things about Croatia. Not only is it clearly a wonderful place to vacation, but we feel like it’s a unique destination filled with sights to discover. We can easily envision a trip filled with views of the turquoise Adriatic Sea against an ancient backdrop including the most stunning Baroque style buildings. Not only is it said to be Europe’s most fashionable place to visit – which is a plus in our books, Croatia also features delicious cuisine, with locally sourced wines and olive oils that is sure to be the cherry on top to the dining experience.

Spain

How could we go to Europe and not visit Spain? Either a beach holiday, or a city break is the perfect escape, and with its energetic atmosphere, it has become one of our must-visit destinations. Set on the Mediterranean, there is no shortage of activities to enjoy and fiestas to experience! We’ve also heard great things of the architecture of Barcelona and Madrid, which is said to be one of the most well known places to visit. Regardless of whether our trip would be for relaxation or for an adventure, there are specific stops that we would need to make in Spain including the gothic Burgas Cathedral, the hidden coves of Ibiza followed by dining at a hip restaurant in the Basque country and bar-hopping and clubbing rounded off by some chocolate con churros. And that’s just to name of a few activities!
