We’re sure you’ve seen those huge Suzy Shier billboards all over the city. We remember being in elementary school and going to the mall on weekends with our friends. We never had more than $20 in our pockets so unless our moms came along, not much shopping got done. We would pass the Suzy Shier store and rarely go in but always wonder if we were pronouncing the “Shier” right.
As we’ve grown up and matured in our shopping ways, we’ve noticed that Suzy has done the same. The ads all over town really show that they have taken a new angle and reinvented their brand image. They don’t want to be thrown into the same category as most “affordable” mall stores. Suzy Shier has transformed itself into a place where you can find classy and fashionable pieces but without the designer name or price tag.
We took a trip to the mall and paid Suzy a visit. In the process we walked out with some key pieces for your wardrobe that you can take from day to night and all for next to nothing. Most of our readers (ourselves included) don’t have platinum Visas and can’t always afford to buy a new wardrobe every season. With the clothes we pulled from Suzy Shier we’ll show you how you can save some cash and look good doing it.
We decided to each pick one item and create two outfits with it. The first (which we will show you in this post) is a daytime look that is perfect for school, work, or a day out on the town). The second is for a night out with the girls, a date with that really cute guy, or dinner with some friends.
We had a lot of fun doing this photo shoot! We hope you like what we’ve chosen and that the next time you stroll to the mall or do some online shopping, check out Suzy Shier – there’s something for everyone!
