The Everyday and Any-Day Pant
After working from home for about a year, I found myself constantly gravitating towards more casual and everyday pieces while shopping like denim, tees, cozy knits, the list goes on. So when I had to attend a meeting, go out for fancy brunch or go to church on Sundays, I felt like I had zero to wear. That’s why recently I’ve been expanding my wardrobe for more versatile pieces that are not only going to fit for the those meetings, church and fancy brunches but can casually be paired with sneakers and basics.
My recent trip to Reitmans was focused just on that – finding a piece that could be dressed up and dressed down while giving me a really polished look. These iconic cropped pants called my name and guys, they are SO comfy! The soft comfort waistband is the perfect feature because it creates a smooth silhouette and works well with a tucked in crisp shirt. For this look however, I paired the iconic pants with this 3/4 sleeve sweater with a cute ruffle detail and topped it off with these new Saks Fifth Avenue block heels.
The pants have already been in heavy rotation and the fact that they are so comfortable is just the cherry on the cake. I’ve already worn them with sneakers, stripped tea and a denim jacket, but I already have big plans for them in the spring with open toe heels and a flouncy blouse.
See the rest of my look which I shot at Her Majesty’s Pleasure in Toronto – easily one of my favourite “pretty” spots in Toronto!
