The Google Products You Need In Your Life

Hey Google! I’m ready for you!

You guys know that at the end of 2018, I was introduced to the Google brand, and since getting acquainted, I am happy to report that I am literally obsessed with the brand and everything they are doing. I quickly got familiar with the Pixel 3 and all of its features and not long after, I worked with them to help promote their Night Sight feature, which allows you to take spectacular photos in the most difficult lighting situations.

Now that we are just 2 days into 2020, I am a happy android user, and more specifically, a Google user and after Google has introduced a few more products and innovations in 2019, I thought that I would take the opportunity to introduce you to the two new products that I’ve incorporated into my every day life!

Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL

It’s no doubt that a phone is essential in todays world, but thanks to Google, I’m finding more and more use for my phone which has positively effected my life and well being. Whether I am taking notes, nailing down my schedule, taking my blog photos or asking Google Assistant just about anything I need, I’ve been using my Pixel 4XL non stop. With the Pixel 4 as the next generation of Google’s premium category of phones, there have been a number of improvements that cannot be missed.

Firstly, the camera. We all take photos every single day, so why not have a camera you can really rely on. Between its improved Night Sight photos, a new Astrophotography setting that takes perfect pictures of the night sky, clearer, more colourful outdoor photographs, and motion blurred portraits, it means that regardless of my need, I can capture the moment effortlessly. I captured my entire NYC trip on my Google and once you scroll through the images, you can see how amazing the camera is – and the Pixel 4 is even better now if you can imagine!

Both the Google Assistant and Motion Sense features make life so much easier. The assistant is great when I work away and need help accessing details or answers for just about anything from cooking recipe details while I prep dinner to what the weather will be like today. The Motion Sense is also a great feature so you can use gestures to control your phone without touching it!

The Pixel 4XL has been glued to my hand but it has me updated, on schedule and completing all my weekly tasks with ease!

Nest Hub Max

Price $299

The Nest Hub Max is new to our household, but I don’t know how I ever went without something like it. The Nest Hub Max is everything you love about Nest Hub and the Google Assistant – personalized help, answers from Google, control for your connected home and even more.

The Nest Hub Max does it all and at $299, it really makes life at home that much easier and organized. The screen is perfect for Youtube watchers like myself and now that I have a new puppy, Freddie, I am able to use the hub to play some calm puppy music so he can fall asleep while we get our Christmas to-do list complete. I am also able to use my Google Play Music on the Hub Max, so when I wake up, I can command Google with a simple “Hey Google” so I can start my day with a little dance session.

As if that isn’t enough, the Nest Hub Max also controls more than 30,000 devices from 3,500 brands, so you can easily turn on the lights, lock the door, and turn down your thermostat, all with “Hey Google.”

The best part for me though? The Nest Hub Max’s built-in Nest Cam features help you keep an eye on your home while you’re away, and as someone with a new puppy, I am able to keep an eye on little Freddie while I’m away for short periods of time. As a new dog mom, I can’t tell you how often I feel stressed about him while I’m away, and now I can keep an eye on him and make sure that he is calm and enjoying his time at home!

These are just a couple of Google’s latest innovations, but I have no doubt that I will be incorporating more and more Google products into my every day lives. Both of these items are great for yourself, but just as amazing for a loved one this Holiday season!
