Tour TOMS Founder, Blake Mycoskie’s Home

Founder of the well known brand TOMS, Blake Mycoski and his wife, Heather give Architectural Digest a tour of their beautiful L.A home.

The home at the time was already under demolition, so the couple jumped at the chance to create a space that was original and a look that was exactly how they wanted. Very much like the cool and casual look of the TOMS brand, their home is a stylish mix of vintage finds and unique fabrics, coining it as “contemporary barn”.

Heather and Blake looked to Hammer and Spear, an L.A. home-furnishings emporium and multidisciplinary design studio to put together a home that was authentic to the couple.

“Blake and Heather wanted everything to feel personal, layered, and evolved—nothing too designery. The biggest challenge was taking all of the amazing objects they’d acquired around the world and combining them in a way that felt truly authentic. The house couldn’t look like a bohemian Colonial Williamsburg.”
